🤝Clients often come to me in moments of deep disconnection.

Together, we can navigate what’s next. Whether you’re managing grief, anxiety, depression, or transition—or simply unsure where to begin—you don’t have to do this alone.

THERAPIST AND COUNSELOR IN DENVER, CO

Hello! I’m Jenny Robbins

M.A., LPC, CBC

Maybe you’ve found your way here because something in life has shifted—and it’s left you feeling lost or off balance. Whether you’re navigating grief, a major transition, or a quiet but persistent sense of unease, I offer a steady and grounded space where women and men can reconnect with themselves and move toward healing.

I’ve supported clients through grief, trauma, and life transitions. These experiences often entirely reshape identity. I’m especially attuned to the emotional needs of those who may feel uncertain about seeking support, and to individuals feeling unseen in their roles, relationships, or day-to-day lives.

My personal experience with loss continues to shape how I show up in the therapy room—not as a focus, but as a lens of empathy and presence. I understand the value of feeling truly seen, especially during life’s most anguishing moments. If you’re ready to begin, I invite you to step into a space where your story is honored, and your healing is possible.

My Approach to Therapy and Healing

My work is grounded in a compassionate, trauma-informed approach. I walk alongside clients rather than standing above them. What you are carrying may not be able to be fixed, but we can explore ways to strengthen your ability to carry it—and we’ll explore that together.

Therapeutic tools may include:

  • EMDR – to soften distressing symptoms of trauma
  • Mindfulness-Based Therapy – to re-center and regulate
  • Spiritual Inclusive Care – exploring existential themes with openness, whether religious or not
  • ATTEND Model of Bereavement Care which includes Attunement, building Trust and safety in Trauma, Egalitarian and client-centered focus, Nuanced intervention, and Death education
  • Selah Model of Grieving – Incorporates being with grief, surrendering to grief, and doing with grief

My Journey to Clinical Practice

My path to therapy began with personal loss—but also with purpose. In the midst of my grief after the death of my eldest son, I met with a grief counselor who listened and gently said, “That’s big.” That moment—simple and profound—was a time I truly felt seen in my pain. It shaped how I understood the power of presence and planted the seed for the work I do now.

In the wake of my profound loss, I found myself re-evaluating everything. I returned to school to pursue what had been a quiet calling for a long time: becoming a counselor. I stay grounded through time in nature, meaningful connections with loved ones, and the simple joys of daily life with my family.

Alongside my private practice, I served as a clinician at the STEM Center for Strength, a community-based resiliency center created after the 2019 STEM Highlands Ranch school shooting. There, I supported parents, educators, and student survivors through trauma, anxiety, and grief.

I experience great fulfillment in providing Critical Incident Support Services (CISS) for schools and places of business in the wake of a serious event. The Rocky Mountain Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) awarded me their 2021 Outstanding Provider of the Year for this work.

I am honored to volunteer on the leadership team of my local chapter of The Compassionate Friends (TCF), support for the loss of a child, grandchild, or sibling. I have facilitated grief workshops at TCF’s annual national conferences.

My personal and professional life has equipped me to support others navigating grief, traumatic loss, family complexity, life challenges, and career transitions

I work best with clients who are in those in-between spaces—when what was no longer fits, and what will be isn’t yet clear.
