Here When You Are Ready

You don’t have to commit to years of therapy. Just start with one session, one hour to breathe, unload, and see if this feels right.

Grounded in Real Connection

M.A., LPC

If you’re reading this, chances are you’re carrying more than you thought you could, and maybe wondering if anyone truly gets it. I’ve been there.

I became a mom later in life, and nothing prepared me for how much it would rock me. I loved my kids deeply, but I didn’t love who I was becoming. Instead of joy, I felt depleted. Instead of balance, I felt buried under expectations. I wondered if something was wrong with me, and for years I believed I was broken.

What I know now, and what I want you to know, is that you are not broken. You are human. And you don’t have to do this alone.

I work with women in all stages, prenatal, postpartum, perimenopause, and beyond, who are trying to make sense of their shifting identities, relationships, and lives. Together, we’ll create a safe place to drop the mask, exhale, and start to find your way back to yourself.

My Approach

Therapy with me is not about quick fixes or polished advice. It’s about being real, human, and present with you. Think of it as sitting down with someone who gets it, someone who can listen without judgment, reflect honestly, and help you untangle what feels overwhelming.

Our Sessions May Include:

• Honest conversation (without the “supposed to”s and “shoulds”)
• Tools for grounding and calming your body when anxiety spikes
• Gentle strategies for rebuilding identity and connection
• A reminder that play, laughter, and joy belong to you too

My Story

For years, I worked as a children’s and adolescent counselor. Then I became a mother myself at 38, and everything changed. My daughter was born, then my son two years later, right as COVID began. Instead of glowing mom moments, I was hit with postpartum depression, anger, and a crushing sense of losing myself.

I spent years silently struggling, convinced I was failing. Only later did I realize I wasn’t alone, that what I was experiencing had a name, and that countless women carry the same hidden weight. That realization became the heartbeat of my work: helping other women who whisper, “I’m not sure I can do this” finally feel seen, validated, and supported.

Today, I no longer try to look like I have it all together. I show up as a therapist, someone who knows what it feels like to cry in the car, to long for freedom, and to crave just one hour that’s truly yours.

Outside the Office

I’m married, raising two kids (ages 5 and 8), and we share our home with a very loved Labradoodle named Maybelle. Lately, I’ve been trying new things just for me, like mountain biking. Am I Colorado’s next hardcore adventurer? Absolutely not. I’ve learned that joy often shows up when I stop chasing “perfect” and just try.

I love being outside in ways that feel doable, not extreme, and curling up with a good book whenever I can steal a quiet moment. I believe therapy should feel the same, accessible, grounding, and life-giving, not another thing to perform or perfect.
